Leslie is the manager, but she will never admit she is in charge. She loves researching something different and learning something new everyday- from permitting in the varied municipalities to reaching out to potential customers to making design suggestions. She loves watching the Ascendant collaboration that happens as properties come together, from being discussed as an idea to being designed on paper to then being renovated or built and finally returned to the community as homes for sweet residents.
At home, Leslie has been married to Wally for 28 adventurous years. Many of those years have been focused on raising four children, Brian, Anna, Meg, and Joelle.

She spends her days getting to know all of the excellent zoning & planning personnel and superb building reviewers & officials in the Atlanta area - as well as almost all corners of the state. She tends to win them all over with her wit and charming smile. The occasional cookie platter never hurts either.
When she isn't running around to city and county offices, she enjoys spending time with her 3 boys - at least the twins who are at home while her big boy is stationed in South Korea!

As a licensed general contractor and the owner of Northside Remodeling Services LLC, Willie brings his big ideas, work ethic, and broad investor experience to each and every Ascendant client. Growing up in Charleston S.C, he got his first taste of the construction industry working for his father as a plumber’s apprentice where he learned that hard work will eventually pay off.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Management, Will got his first job at The City of Atlanta working as a Construction Manager. There he managed an array of projects from new fire and police stations to tenant build outs. He brings this experience of the city building process, cost control, and project management to Ascendant.
